MEET OUR SCHOOL NURSESĀ

Left to Right: Chloe Tozzi, Brittney Hulett, Casey O'Neil, Dawn Lorenzen

CHLOE TOZZI – Junior High School

My name is Chloe and I am grateful to be the school nurse at CFJH! I have been a nurse for 11 years with a background in cardiology and orthopedic spine surgery, and am truly enjoying working with our students in this new setting. I believe in supporting whole-student wellness and promote holistic healing and balance in our everyday lives. My favorite part of this role is teaching students about how their bodies work and why, promotion of healthy habits and helping find the root cause of our various daily ailments. Students often roll their eyes at my corny positivity phrases, and to that I say: You are capable!! I believe in you! You can do hard things! Nurse Chloe can be reached at 892-6530 x 4007.

CASEY O’NEIL – Glacier Gateway Elementary

I am Casey O'Neil, I have been the school nurse at Glacier Gateway Elementary for 6 years.  I love every aspect of pediatric school nursing.  My children have attended all grade levels of Columbia Falls School District and have participated in many Wildcat Athletics.  My family has been in the Flathead Valley for five generations now and we spend most of our time outdoors with our animals. Go Cats Go!! Nurse Casey can be reached at 892-6540 x 2308

BRITTNEY HULETT – High School

I am Brittney Hulett and have been an RN for going on 9 years. I was born and raised here in Montana.  I attended nursing school at North Idaho College in Coeur d Alene ID. Prior to starting at the High School here in Columbia Falls I worked in the NICU for 2 years. Working with kids has always been my passion, so getting to do it as a nurse here in high school is great. I am also currently one of the HOSA Advisors. Working at the high school makes for a great family life as well and I would not change that for the world. I look forward to continuing to help your students throughout the years. Go CATS, BLEED BLUE! Nurse Brittney can be reached 892-6500 x 5273.

DAWN LORENZEN – Ruder Elementary

Dawn Lorenzen, LPN, Ruder Elementary nurse has worked in K-12 public schools nursing since 2013 in both Montana and California, and has 25 years experience in Spinal Cord Injury care, Geriatrics, Pediatric Neurology and Endocrinology. She enjoys helping students of every age learn skills and attitudes to pursue good physical and mental health. School nursing in Montana is a blessing for many reasons, especially because Wildcat families nurture grit and adventurousness in their children. Nurse Dawn can be reached at 892-6570 x 3103.
