Purpose Driven Training Academy is excited to support the Columbia Falls School District Six by offering an entry-level basketball, volleyball, and (potentially) cross country program in Columbia Falls.  We anticipate serving over 300 student-athletes this year.  It is our desire to run a program that teaches the value of character as being the central component of being a competitor.  Equally, this program will instill the essential fundamentals that provides the framework of learning a sport.  In essence, it is our hope that each athlete learns the fundamentals of the game, appreciates the importance of character, and develops a love and passion for their sport of choice.  It is going to be a ton of fun!

Program Details (structure for each sport/season)

  • Each age group will have the opportunity to participate in a clinic prior to the start of their season.
  • Each session will be 1 hour in length.
  • Sessions will include character development, fundamental training, and competitive opportunities through small-sided and 5v5 games.
  • Every child will receive excellent coaching, a fun experience, and a T-shirt.

Volunteer Coaches

  • We are looking for volunteer coaches to help make this program successful.
  • Coaches training will be on the same day as the clinic (i.e. September 30, 2024,  at 8:00 p.m. for Girls' Basketball coaches).
  • If you are interested in coaching or have any questions please indicate on registration.
  • If you have any questions or you are in need of more information, please contact Robert Walters at (406) 210-6552 or robwalters29@yahoo.com.

Core values = RISE

  • Respect - know the value of yourself and others; you are valuable!
  • Integrity - let your character shine in every situation
  • Selfless - value the team and value truthful, loving communication
  • Energy - seize every opportunity; don't waste the moments

Program Philosophy

  • The most important element of being a winner is CHARACTER
  • We will value the little things; fundamentals matter
  • Coaches will commit to coaching the "whole person", not just the "athlete", care coaching is the heart of what we do
  • We commit to helping athletes leave better than when they started
  • We commit to helping every athlete realize that their value does not come from what they do or accomplish, but rather from who they are created to be
